afters? is a narrative about the expectation of a following in time...this book is an initial release of the project...based on a thought that slipped through els' mind at the dawn of 15 June 2025...following an afterparty the night before...the book visually captures the mixed and complicated emotions since that afterparty and thereafter…from “the good old days” to “life goes on”...along with all the fragmented moments...
it opens with a straightforward reminder about living the good days before it 'turns old'...closes with a summarisation of 無奈 (mou4 noi6)...a nuanced feeling could not be fully translated in English...
this book unfolds and defines the many more stories to be told and the way they will be told as an ongoing project...so...what's afters?
